Baptiste Cazaux is a performer, choreographer and DJ based in Geneva. Their work explores the relationship between sound and choreography. They investigate themes such as bodies in crisis and living under capitalism, drawing inspiration from music criticism. Improvisation, spontaneous writing, sensoriality — with an emphasis on listening — and altered states of consciousness are key elements of their practice.
Baptiste is also a performer in works by choreographers such as Katerina Andreou, Ayelen Parolin, Jan Martens and Jozsef Trefeli. They also work as a dramaturg for artists such as lisa laurent, Lea Samira Bernath, David Zagari, Jeanne Colin and Giulia Essyad.
